Well Remax finally realised that we were actually moving out, which meant they had to actually had to do something - like advertise the rental property for new tenants. Hmm what would normally be a good way to go about doing that lets see..... If it was me, not a professional property manager working for a world class (vomit) well known business, I would probably go back through the records to copy the ad that was used to advertise it last time, or maybe even call the owners let them know what was going on and ask them for some details of the property to help rent it out to another tenant. But no, I received a phone call "Hello it's dumbass from Remix and we have just realised that we have no idea what the property you are leasing from us looks like" Okay I said wondering if they were hinting at coming around for an inspection or something. "Would you be able to give us a summary of what's good about the house right now over the phone please" WTF!!! Preparing myself to say "Ring the F***EN owner you silly cow" I bit my tounge realising this could be a bit of fun. "So it is a 3 bedroom isn't it?" Not really I would say it's a 2 bedroom with sunroom (It could easily be advertised as 3 bedder). "There is a garage isn't there" No Garage only a storage area and off street parking. "What about the condition of the bathroom" really poor condition and the kitchen sucks to you silly cow. Anyway after I was put on hold for her to see if they needed anything else it was all over. Left shaking I went and cried in the corner for a few minutes and then did an evil little snicker.
On a brighter note, we took WD40 and Miley out to the new diggs on the weekend, they loved it and enjoyed exploring, and were even more happier when they discoverd the Harry Potter style storage area underneath the internal staircase. After much pleading they convinced me to allow them to use it as their indoor cubby house once we move in. I will be sure to post pics of them locked, I mean playing, in the cupboard once we relocate. Till next time.
